Outfit: 1st Day of NYFW

What an exciting first day of New York Fashion Week!

Between getting up at 7 AM to attend Nicholas K fashion show and seeing Candela at 2:30 PM - which were both amazing - my lovely entourage (YES, I had an incredible professional photographer with me, hehe) and I had lots of time to explore the fashion week premises, enjoy a delicious soy latte - oh, and meet Kelly Cutrone, Cory Kennedy AND LEANDRA MEDINE. Needless to say, I completely freaked out when I saw the Man Repeller in flesh and taking a picture with her made my day. Or week. Or ... life.

Anyways, in spite of all the craziness, I still got to take outfit pictures for you!

And yes, in-depth reports on the fashion shows are coming, I promise!

Impressions: (Capsule) Collection

Anna, Kim and I went to (Capsule), an international tradeshow presented in Berlin, Paris, Las Vegas and New York City, where we saw a lot of interesting newcomer brands. At the show these brands had the opportunity to showcase their collcetions to prospective buyers and press people like us. We saw brands from all over the world which concentrate on men's and women's clothing and accessories and met a lot of very nice people. The atmosphere was really cool, friendly and laid back and over the home made daiquiris we had the chance to talk to some designers about their work and do some networking.

The brands we liked in particular will be presented on the blog very soon and as soon as Kim gets back to New York she will attend (Capsule) there to talk about possible collaborations with some of the labels. After the show we were escorted to an exclusive after party where we rocked out to 60s music. We have some photos of the show to give you an impression of (Capsule).

Christmas: Harrods windows!

As announced on Facebook, we start with our Christmas Special today!
We find Harrods' beautiful Christmas windows the perfect opener for our little series. Some of the greatest contemporary designers teamed up with London's most famous department store to give Disney's fairytale princesses a new, very fashionable look. The result is perfection and in every girly girl's dream, but look for yourselves!

Inspiration: Cozy up!

As the days get shorter, colder and a lot darker all we can do to fight the upcoming winter season is cuddle up in cozy sweaters, oversized knitwear and treat ourselves with hot cocoa and beautiful books and magazines... Have yourself a lovely winter!
