Inspiration: To Melt or Not to Melt
I am currently faced with the hardest decision of my young life: To melt or not to melt? Last July I went to the Melt! Festival near Berlin that showcases both electronic DJs (like andhim, Solomun, Scuba) and indie artists (like Daugher, Woodkid) all in front of the backdrop of an old open brown coal pit. I would love to go again this year but as I am in London, getting to Berlin would be quite the hassle. It breaks my heart to say that I will probably going to have to stay in London (boohoo!) and pretend I'm there. Which won't be too hard with these gorgeous shots by Sarah Bahbah from her 'The Wild Ones' series for Raised By The Wolves. Definitely check out her Instagram as well!
Love: So It Goes Magazine's Cool Girls
So It Goes Magazine is for cool girls. Cool girls that throw on a pair of jeans and a shirt in the morning, ruffle through their tousled bed hair and apply a hint of mascara, and look flawless. We know we all wish to be those cool girls. And honestly, So It Goes' editorials are the only inspiration you need.

Inspiration: Freckle Me Not
Freckles are a tough luck. You either have 'em or you don't. And you also either like them or you don't. When I was younger I used to try to cover mine with a mean combination of three thick layers of foundation, concealer and powder. Now I absolutely love them and purposely hold my nose into the sun (even in risk of a massive sunburn) so that I can get even more! I'm sorry if you are one of the poor souls not blessed with the lovely sprinkles of joy - but here is to all us Pippi Longstockings!

Love: The Return Of The Goddess- Kate Moss for Topshop
I was actually thinking of throwing a gypsy-themed party when I heard the good news! My favourite fashion icon Kate Moss is teaming up with Topshop again to design her 15th collection for the British fashion giant. It has been 3 years now since we last enjoyed her free-spirited fashion genius being made into beautiful, unique garments. Kate herself said she missed the designing process and is very happy to launch a new collection bearing her name for the flagship of London fashion. As some of you might have noticed, Kate is also gracing British Vogue's May Cover. And guess who designed that dazzling fringed top she's wearing? That's right, it's Kate for Topshop!
The collection will include 40 pieces of garments, shoes and accessories delivering a new take on Queen Kate's iconic style. It will be available in Topshop stores all over the world and online on April 30th! You better be quick if you want to get hold on of the limited pieces- the last Kate Moss for Topshop collections were sold out within a few hours! Wanna sneak a peek? Here's little behind the scenes video to get you in the mood. Oh happy day!

Inspiration: Free People Valentine's Lookbook
With Valentine's Day getting closer we relish the opportunity to treat ourselves - and our better halves - to something oh-so-cute. Free People is definitely helping us out on that front this year. The fashion retailer's special intimates line, Intimately Free People, has just launched a new lookbook with Martha Hunt lensed by David Bellemere - called A First Light - getting us in the mood for some romance and a ton of new lingerie ranging from bras to slips and camisole to go along with it. And it doesn't matter if you've got no one to wear it for. These little things are gorgeous enough to work just for you.
Also, make sure to get lost in love with Martha in Free People's holiday shoot.

Inspiration: Bring Back the 70s
Sony Pictures
Let's hope that history repeats itself. Because if a highly overrated Baz Luhrmann movie can inspire designers from all over the world to fill the runways with dazzling flapper dresses, short black bobs with water waves and thick raccoon smokey eyes with thin drawn on eyebrows, then American Hustle can bring back the magical 70s.
And let's face it, a 70s reprise would be a lot more exciting for everyone: No great depression that drives people to the margin of subsistence but a successful civil rights movement that enables individuals of all genders and ethnicities. No prohibition that increases the crime rate and corruption but booze, drugs and love wherever you look. No stiff Charleston music that makes you look like Charlie Chaplin but great rock'n'roll that turns everyone into wild groupies.
So, let's hope the 70s come back once more - and not only in clothes but also in society, economy and people's mindsets.

Event: CFDA Awards 2013
The CFDA Awards 2013, annually taking place at the Lincoln Center in New York, are often called the Oscars of Fashion. This event is one of the most important for the fashion crowd - next to Met Gala that took place a couple months ago.
Therefore it is our duty to swoon over the most amazing outfits of the event and the most important fashion people that won awards last night. I am very proud of my favorite designer duo to be the main prize winner of the night for the category "Womenswear Designer of the Year" - congratulations, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler! I was also happy to see Vera Wang win the "Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award" and for Riccardo Tisci to take home the "International Award".
Let's also take a look at the most amazing outfits of the CFDA Awards 2013:

Love: June is LOVE
June has just come around the corner and it's a really special month for us. Not only does June give us that sweet summery feeling, the opportunity to wear our delicate flats and the lightest dresses and more sunny hours each day. It is also our birthday month! Yay!!
As an ode to June, I collected some things I really love about it. So get inspired, take out that sundress and go pick some strawberries, Muesli Lovers!
