Report: Nicholas K FW13 at MBFW New York

Fierce - that is the first word that came to mind seeing a very chic fashion army march down the runway at Nicholas K yesterday.

Cold, neutral colors like blacks, greys and blues created a serious atmosphere while printed goggles and unattached hoods gave the impression that the models had just returned from an intense mission saving the world. Their 'uniforms' consisted of layers and layers of soft silks, crisp leathers and luscious fur which added just the right amount of sophistication. We loved every single look - and vow to pile up a lot more layers in the future!

We thank the fashion troops at Nicholas K yesterday and hope that they will save the day again today - during the horrible snow storm in New York. Everyone be safe!

Outfit: 1st Day of NYFW

What an exciting first day of New York Fashion Week!

Between getting up at 7 AM to attend Nicholas K fashion show and seeing Candela at 2:30 PM - which were both amazing - my lovely entourage (YES, I had an incredible professional photographer with me, hehe) and I had lots of time to explore the fashion week premises, enjoy a delicious soy latte - oh, and meet Kelly Cutrone, Cory Kennedy AND LEANDRA MEDINE. Needless to say, I completely freaked out when I saw the Man Repeller in flesh and taking a picture with her made my day. Or week. Or ... life.

Anyways, in spite of all the craziness, I still got to take outfit pictures for you!

And yes, in-depth reports on the fashion shows are coming, I promise!
