Inspiration: Rosie Huntington-Whitely for Vogue Germany June 2014

While I'm not really a fan of the cover (it looks too commercial - almost like a Guess advertisement?), I absolutely adore the editorial "English Rose" in the June 2014 issue of Vogue Germany. The "English Rose" is Rosie Huntington-Whitely who was shot by Camilla Akrans in beautiful mansion with 70s allure, in sensual mood lighting and delicate fashion - with lots of skin. Take a look!

Monday Muse: Emmanuelle Alt

The time has come to start a new section! The idea: presenting to you some of our very personal style icons to give you an appetizing bite of inspiration for how to dress for the week to come.

We start off with no less than French Vogue Chief Editor Emmanuelle Alt. One word: EFFORTLESS. Known for her simple yet ever so stylish looks, Emmanuelle is mixing delicate basics like cashmere pulls and biker tees with It-pieces of the current season. She's never over-the-top but more like the french girl casual with a cool and serene attitude, leaving us with shining eyes in the sight of this chick knowing every trick in the book.

So let classes begin with Ms. Alt teaching us some styling lessons cause we are eager to learn - at least on a monday afternoon.

Rule number one: mixing out-of-bed-I-don't-care-hair with cropped, slim fitting jeans, a rocking jacket and statement booties is a damn fine way to start the week.

Internship: Altuzarra S/S 2014 Fashion Show

I am back in New York and I have exciting news: Two weeks ago I started my internship at PR Consulting, a PR agency that handles the public relations for brands like Versace, Dries van Noten, Vera Wang and many other famous fashion brands. I am on the team for the amazing brands Maje, ACNE and Altuzarra - whose fashion show was yesterday. I got to assist the preparation of the show as well as work it last night.

The collection was simply amazing - but also the venue and the atmosphere was great. It was an incredible experience to meet the designer Joseph Altuzarra and to show the most important people of fashion industry to their seats - Anna Wintour, Stefan Tonchi, Giovanna Battaglia, Nina Garcia, Taylor Tomasi Hill, Garance Doré, Leandra Medine and so many more of my favorite editors from Vogue, W, Marie Claire, Elle, etc. and bloggers were there!

Enjoy some of my backstage pictures and my favorite looks from the collection.

Love: Details at Chloé Pre-Fall 2013

Chloé delivered my absolute favorite Pre-Fall collection this year. Very feminine but yet effortless, girly but sophisticated, chic and at the same time cool. I love the unconventional but yet so very beautiful color combination of strong colors, such as red and green, in contrast to pastels, such as light pink and beige, and neutral colors, such as black, white and grey. The collection is very versatile and amazingly wearable - for any age and style.

I especially love the trumpet dresses and the A-line coats that have a hint of a vintage feel to them. Clare Waight Keller herself states that she was inspired by the music of the 60s - and that's why you can find little abstract instruments in the patterns of the garments. We adore her love for details - and say: Chapeau, Chloé!
