Over night, someone covered New York City in a 6-inch-thick layer of vanilla cake icing (AKA snow). Unfortunately, the culprit forgot the colorful sprinkles. And even as delicious as that might sound, most New Yorkers (including me) are so done with snow and are not leaving their houses today - as sort of a silent non-violent protest against Mother Hulda.
This wonderful summer campaign is my only savior: It is gloriously innocent, sweet and simple - like rays of sun warming pale winter skin. So, literally all that I will be doing today is stare at beautiful Jennifer Pugh in her snow-white (ha!) outfit, listen to summer-y feel-good songs - and hope to be able to stroll around in a Spring garden soon.
I hope this also helps all of you poor things battling the never-ending rain in Germany!
