Inspiration: Rosie Huntington-Whitely for Vogue Germany June 2014

While I'm not really a fan of the cover (it looks too commercial - almost like a Guess advertisement?), I absolutely adore the editorial "English Rose" in the June 2014 issue of Vogue Germany. The "English Rose" is Rosie Huntington-Whitely who was shot by Camilla Akrans in beautiful mansion with 70s allure, in sensual mood lighting and delicate fashion - with lots of skin. Take a look!

Inspiration: Free People Catalogue March 2014

'Tis the season to be jolly … and get hitched in Vegas and go on a motorcycle road trip from Cali to Miami and jingle all the way with stacks upon stacks of bracelets and cuffs and walk through the desert barefoot with a see-through flowing white dress and get a million little tattoos of tribal signs. I mean, at least that's what Free People says. And I ain't complaining, to be honest.

Here is some (probably completely superfluous) inspiration for your next road trip with friends (or newlywed spouse): Free People's marvelous March 2014 catalogue featuring Erin Wasson and three new happy feel-good songs from Smokey, the Bear. And no, "Happy" is not one of them.

Inspiration: Free People Valentine's Lookbook

With Valentine's Day getting closer we relish the opportunity to treat ourselves - and our better halves - to something oh-so-cute. Free People is definitely helping us out on that front this year. The fashion retailer's special intimates line, Intimately Free People, has just launched a new lookbook with Martha Hunt lensed by David Bellemere - called A First Light - getting us in the mood for some romance and a ton of new lingerie ranging from bras to slips and camisole to go along with it. And it doesn't matter if you've got no one to wear it for. These little things are gorgeous enough to work just for you.

Also, make sure to get lost in love with Martha in Free People's holiday shoot.

Monday Muse: Stefano Fabbri

This time, our Monday Muse is a male. Stefano Fabbri is an uprising fashion photographer based in Milan. His art finds its center in the mercurial nature of the female muse and body, celebrating its soft curves and sharp angles, intimidated by the artists beautiful proclivity for sensual portraits. The editorial named IN THE CUT featuring Model Caroline Kristiansen was exclusively published in The Libertine Magazine as part of their fall flight series last year. Its aim is to combine sharp contrasts, low maintenance beauty and alluring active wear trying to evoke pure fluidity of motion throughout the images.
We love Mondays. Have a great one. xx

Inspiration: Glass With Class

It's been confirmed...

I'm getting old. And glasses! And I still don't quite know how to feel about it..

To swing my opinion to the positive side I took a look at some rather fine specimen that I think prevent people from looking like a bossy secretary or something. You know the deal. I mean wearing glasses CAN certainly look fancy fantastic - even Marilyn Monroe did wear one (hers were shaped in a cat-eyed way. This shape embodies a huge trend in eyewear 2014, both in sunglasses and ophthalmic collections). Nowadays you might even get the impression that people who actually can see perfectly fine wear glasses more often than those who'd really need them, using them as an accessory. So let’s take a look at some classy glasses. Personally I will have to take a closer look as I am blind as bat. I really hope that my mind tricks will work.
